This stanza closely aligns with Fil.1.49, with a slight difference. Troilus expresses concern that Criseyde might be in love with another man and consequently will never give him any attention. In Fil, Troiolo also worries that Criseida might be in love with another man, but his concern is that she may despise him as a result.
