In the Italian source, Troiolo becomes extremely saddened upon hearing the news of Criseyde’s change of heart and actively summons Pandaro. However, as stated in this stanza, Pandarus in Tr visits Troilus of his own accord. This aspect portrays Pandarus more akin to a friend in need, offering support without being explicitly called upon.
