The quoted stanza follows Fil. 5.50 in which Troiolo and Pandaro go to see Criseida’s house immediately after their talk about her. However, Chaucer’s characters talk about Criseyde so late and so intensely that they even forget to eat supper. They then go see Criseyde’s house early the next morning.
