Troilus dreams of a boar sleeping in a forest with Criseyde lying in its arms and continually kissing it. He considers this dream the gods’ way of disclosing Criseyde’s betrayal. In the quotation, he sorrowfully tells Pandarus about this dream. Notably, Troilus still calls Criseyde his ‘lady bryght’, but in the same scene, Troiolo says ‘la tua Criseida’ (thy Cressida) when talking to Pandaro.
