Though Pandarus has been carrying out his plan successfully, Troilus’s desire becomes stronger day by day. Realising that letters are no longer enough to relieve Troilus’s pain, Pandarus decides to arrange a private meeting for the two protagonists. The upcoming meeting at Deiphebus’s house is not recorded in Fil. As to this scene, see also my comment of ‘cler’ (adj., Tr3.129).
