Hector and his men are preparing to fight another battle against the Greek army. Although this battle seems to be one of many, it greatly changes Troilus and Criseyde’s fortune. Chaucer follows Fil. 4.3 in naming some warriors who fought, but rather than all those he lists, only Antenor was captured. Later, Criseyde will be exchanged for Antenor.
