In this stanza, both Troilus and Pandarus experience sadness and grief in response to the decision of the parliament to have Criseyde exchanged. However, a notable difference from its counterpart is that Troilus does not exhibit the same physical display of affection towards Pandarus as Troiolo does in the source material.
