Japanese translations (Sasamoto: 2012): トロイルスは両腕にクリセイデをしっかりと抱きしめて、言った。「ねえ愛しい人よ、おれの望み通り、今君はおれの掌の中にいる、今おれたち二人だけだよ。もう観念しなさいよ、他に道がないのだから！」それに対してクリセイデはすぐにこう答えた。「若様、ずっと前に従おうと決めていなければ、わたし、きっと、今ここにいませんわ！」
